Support For Schools

Like most schools, you are probably finding that there seems to be an ever increasing number of children needing more support than ever before.  In fact, the latest statistics from The Children's Society suggest that 1 in 6 children have a mental health problem.   It stands to reason that SEMH and Wellbeing is now a priority in schools.

If you would like more support for the staff and pupils in your school Well Beings - SEMH Support could be the answer.  Well Beings provide schools in the Midlands area with proactive advice, training and strategies.

Some of the services offered are:

  • Observations and functional assessments of children with SEMH needs or barriers to learning, with practical strategies to support them effectively.

  • Facilitated in-depth Pupil Wellbeing and Learning Plans to enable staff to successfully support a child’s mental health and emotional wellbeing.

  • Staff support sessions and professional development for individuals or small groups tailored to identified needs.

  • Resources to support SEMH and wellbeing in school.

  • School audits to identify school strengths in SEMH and wellbeing, followed by the completion of a SEMH and Wellbeing Action Plan with practical recommendations.
